Sylvan Esso | Coffee

The plethora of outdoor shows is my favorite thing about the summertime. Sunshine and shades, sweaty strangers you don't know smiling and singing just the same, groovin' among the good vibes that swirl about as the sun sets and sky sets fire.
I know my words will dry upon the skin
Just like a name I remember hearing
All feels right.
Tomorrow, I'll continue my summer concert-going with Sylvan Esso as they take the stage at Prospect Park's Celebrate Brooklyn concert series.
I discovered the Durham-based electronic duo last year when my friend Mike sent me their album with a note that said -- I think you'll dig this. He was right.
Take a listen to their song "Coffee" performed at Washington, DC's 9:30 Club last year:
"It's the dreamiest of scenes," Sylvan Esso singer Amelia Meath sighed as she looked out over the sold-out crowd at Washington, D.C.'s 9:30 Club. Wearing six-inch platform tennis shoes and an all-black jumpsuit, Meath gyrated and pumped her fists, urging the crowd on.
If you like what you hear, just keep it playing. The following song "Dress" is one of my favorites, as well.
For more on Sylvan Esso, stay tuned to the Two Bars of Stardust social media channels as I'll be posting pics, videos and such from the show tomorrow night!
Keep dancin'
